Our story
Independent practices lose revenue to denials, slow follow-up and payer rules that change without warning. Large health systems have teams for this. Small practices usually have one overworked person, or no one.
BillingBell Healthcare Systems was founded to close that gap: experienced billing support for independent practices, delivered locally, with clear reporting.
Our day-to-day billing work also shows us where errors start. That insight drives our research into responsible AI for healthcare administration, including BillingBell Sentinel™.

Dr. Ahmed Ejaz, Founder and Chairman
Healthcare Business Development and Marketing Leader. Author and Researcher. Founder, BillingBell and Creative Clusters Marketing. Health Equity Advocate. Rotarian.
Dr. Ahmed Ejaz brings more than 30 years of experience across clinical practice, healthcare business development, sales, marketing and community health. He holds a BHMS (Gold Medal), an M.Sc. in Psychology and an MBA in Marketing Management.
He is an author, researcher and international speaker who has delivered keynotes in 15 countries and trained more than 200 physicians and healthcare providers. He is a health equity advocate, a Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Rotary Club of Woodbridge.
Alongside BillingBell he founded Creative Clusters Marketing, a marketing agency. His current work focuses on healthcare operations, responsible AI and patient-centered innovation.
Where we work
Headquartered in Woodbridge, Virginia. We serve practices in Prince William County and across Northern Virginia, and work with practices elsewhere in the United States remotely.
